SELLER’S STORY
What makes the current residents enjoy living here so much—and why are they saying goodbye to this wonderful place?
When we first walked into Funenpark, we were immediately impressed: so much peace, space, and greenery—right in the middle of Amsterdam. It feels like a calm island, while within just a few minutes by bike you are in the city center with culture, museums, terraces, and nightlife.
We love walking through the park and easily reaching our favorite spots: vegetarian dining at Spirit, an evening at Café Czaar with monthly free live jazz, or a pizza on Czaar Peterstraat. Everything is within walking distance, without the hustle and bustle right outside your door.
This was the perfect apartment for us: bright, quiet, and with a beautiful unobstructed view over the park. Thanks to its southeast orientation, we enjoy plenty of sunlight—even in winter. What makes living here extra special is the pleasant atmosphere and the wonderful, helpful neighbors.
We have lived here with great pleasure for almost ten years. Now a new phase is beginning: we are expecting a child and need more space. Fortunately, we are staying in Funenpark—just a few meters away. That says everything about how much we love living here, and we hope the next residents will be just as happy as we have been.
